OutbidMCP is built for speed, transparency, and developer utility. We do not track personal identities, run invasive third-party ad pixels, or sell user telemetry. Here is a clear breakdown of what information is processed when you use or bid on OutbidMCP.
1. Public Listing Information
- Listing Data: When you place a bid, your tool name, tagline, target URL, GitHub repo, @handle, category, MCP configuration JSON, and total bid amount are displayed publicly on the leaderboard.
- Leaderboard History: Bid rankings and chronological activity logs (e.g. "X minutes ago") are publicly visible to all visitors.
2. Payments & Financial Processing
- Payments are securely processed directly via Stripe and Polar.
- OutbidMCP never receives, stores, or has access to your raw credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank details.
- We only receive confirmation webhooks containing the transaction ID, amount, and the associated product identifier.
3. Usage Telemetry & Counters
- 1-Click Prompt & Config Copies: When a developer clicks to copy an MCP command or configuration snippet, an anonymous counter is incremented to surface trending tools. No personal IP or device fingerprint is stored.
- Outbound Referral Clicks: Direct clicks from listing cards to destination URLs are routed through transparent redirect endpoints to record total outbound referral traffic.
- No Third-Party Ad Cookies: We do not use Google AdSense, Meta pixels, or surveillance ad networks.
